Merfocell PU sound insulation

Merfocell PU is a sound-absorbing foam made from polyurethane. The panel has an oil, dirt and moisture resistant top layer of polyurethane foil (PU). It is mainly used in engine compartments and machine and equipment housings of, for example, pumps and aggregates. This product can also be used under the hood in cars, buses and campers. Our advice for applications close to combustion engines: keep a minimum space of 8 to 10 cm between hot parts of the noise source/engine and the Merfocell PU plates.
Merfocell is resistant to temperatures of up to max. 80ºC and is easy to clean. The panels provide protection against the influence of water, oil and fuels. Merfocell PU is self-adhesive

Assembly tips
Thoroughly degrease the surface and ensure that there are as few seams and cracks as possible during installation. This can become sound leaks!
